Congratulations to our 2018 MPA Alumni Scholarship Award winners! Thanks to the generosity of the PA Alumni Society scholarship endowment, we were able to offer two scholarships this year to Mr. Levin Jones, and Mr. Adrian Day. These students are recognized for their excellence in public administration, and we look forward to seeing all that they achieve in their future endeavors!
Levin Jones was born and raised in Kinston, NC. As the son of two teachers, Levin has a great appreciation for education, and is excited to be working towards his MPA. He holds an associate’s degree in Business Administration from Pitt C.C., as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University. After college, Levin spent almost five years working in the construction industry. In 2016, Levin brought his experience to local government. Currently he is serving the City of Raleigh as a commercial building inspector.
“I am thankful to be a recipient of the MPA Alumni Scholarship Award. The values of public service that NC State teaches will help me best serve our community, and I look forward to using the skills I have learned.” – Levin Jones
