MPA 2018 Alumni Luncheon

The MPA Alumni Society hosted their annual Alumni Society Luncheon on October 12, 2018. This year’s program was entitled “Building a New Rural Community,” and featured Dan Gerlach, President of the Golden Leaf Foundation, as the guest speaker.

Alumni, faculty, and current students also recognized the MPA Alumni Society Scholarship winners and the new Pi Alpha Alpha members. Each year the top public administration graduate students are nominated for membership in the North Carolina State University chapter of Pi Alpha Alpha, the national honor society for public affairs and administration. The purpose of Pi Alpha Alpha is to recognize outstanding scholarship and accomplishment in public administration and to foster integrity, professionalism and creative performance in the conduct of public service activities.  Congratulations to all of our Pi Alpha Alpha 2018 inductees!
